Here’s an interesting way to spice up your favorite snacks: Make your own Taco Bell Salt! Pouring FIRE! sauce directly onto chips or popcorn will make them soggy, but with a little work, you can dehydrate the sauce and turn it into Taco Bell Salt that you can use to sprinkle ‘Live Más’ on any tasty treat.
You will need:
- 6-10 Sauce Packets (More Packets = Stronger Flavor)
- 1/4 Cup Plain Table Salt
Mix the salt and hot sauce together, and add the mixture to a food processor. Blend the ingredients together until you have a sandy mixture with a uniform color. Take that mixture and spread it out on a parchment-lined baking sheet, and then cook it in a 200-degree oven for at least two hours, or until the salt is completely dry. Then just pop it back into the food processor, pulverize it until you have individual salt crystals again, and then sprinkle your new Taco Bell Salt on any of your favorite crunchy snacks.
